Our Services
At RV Clearcoat Paint & Body, we are known for our meticulous work restoring large motorhomes and commercial trucks. But our workshop capabilities go far beyond fiberglass and body paint.
We offer professional powder coating services for just about any metal object you can think of. From customizing the rims on your truck to restoring your vintage patio set, we apply the same industrial-grade attention to detail that we give our high-end RV clients.

What is Powder Coating?
Unlike traditional wet paint, powder coating is a dry finishing process. We apply a free-flowing, dry powder to your metal parts using an electrostatic charge. The part is then cured under heat, causing the powder to melt and form a "skin" that bonds molecularly with the metal.
The result? A seamless, high-quality finish that resists:
- Chipping & Scratching: Perfect for parts that take a beating from road debris.
- Fading: UV-stable formulas keep your black trim looking black, not chalky gray.
- Rust: Creates a hermetic seal that moisture cannot penetrate.
What We Powder Coat
While many shops focus on a single niche, our facility is equipped to handle a wide range of projects for vehicle owners, homeowners, and businesses. We offer powder coating services for just about any metal object you can think of.
Here are just a few examples of the items we powder coat.
Automotive & Wheels (All Makes & Models)
Give your vehicle a custom look or restore it to showroom quality. Powder coating provides a finish that withstands brake dust, road salt, and stone chips far better than liquid paint.
Wheels & Rims: Steel, aluminum, and alloy wheels for cars, trucks, and trailers.
Suspension Parts: Control arms, springs, and sway bars.
Accessories: Brush guards, hitches, and roll bars.
Residential & Home Restoration
Don't throw away high-quality furniture just because the paint is peeling. We can strip it and coat it to look brand new.
Patio Furniture: Metal chairs, tables, and gliders.
Gates & Fences: Wrought iron gates and decorative fencing.
Handrails: For stairs and porches.
Commercial & Industrial
We work with contractors and business owners to protect metal assets from the Florida elements.
Poles: Light poles, signposts, and flagpoles.
Fixtures: Industrial brackets, stands, and housings.
RV Components
Of course, we are still the RV experts. We protect the parts that take the most abuse on the road.
- Exterior Hardware: Bumpers, roof ladders, window frames, and wiper arms.
- Undercarriage: Hitches, sway bars, steps, and suspension components.
- Interior Upgrades: Table legs, seat bases, and cabinet handles for remodels.
- Custom Fabrications: Parts we manufacture in-house, such as basement door frames and fenders.
Why Choose Powder Coating?
Powder coating is a dry finishing process where an electric charge fuses dry powder to the metal, which is then cured under heat.
Extreme Durability: Resistant to scratching, chipping, peeling, and corrosion.
Better Coverage: The electrostatic process wraps around corners and into crevices that liquid sprays often miss.
Eco-Friendly: The process contains no solvents and releases negligible VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds).
Our Process: Done Right, The First Time
Just like our collision and clear coat work, we don't cut corners.
- Prep & Sandblasting: We strip the part down to bare metal, removing old paint and rust to ensure a perfect bond.
- Masking: Critical threads and mounting points are protected to ensure your parts fit perfectly upon reassembly.
- Coating & Curing: We apply the powder and bake it to perfection in our temperature-controlled ovens.
- Inspection: Greg and the team inspect every inch to ensure it meets our "Better Than Factory" standards.
